Washing instructions COATS AND CLOTHING
Wash Coat at 30 degrees
Do not wash fur collar in the washing machine
Washing Jacket/Ski suit/Bodywarmer with detachable fur collar
- Remove belt
- Wash the belt in a laundry bag
- Wash the jacket inside out
- Remove the fur collar and fur cuffs
- Machine wash at 30 degrees
- Do not tumble dry
- Do NOT wash loose fur collar in the washing machine (read instruction "maintenance fur collar")
Washing Jacket / Ski suit / Body warmer with fur collar attached to the jacket
- Fur should not get completely wet (quality will deteriorate as a result)
- Surface wash, Hand wash
- Total cleaning by the dry cleaner
Do you still want to wash the jacket yourself in the washing machine? This is not recommended, but we are happy to give you a tip.
1 Preferably wash cold, otherwise at 30 degrees.
2 Immediately after washing, comb the fur thoroughly and shake it out.
Repeat step 2 until the fur is completely dry. If you don't comb out the fur, the hairs will stick together and it will become less full.
Wash clothes and swimwear
- Wash at 30 degrees
- Do not tumble dry
Always wash with similar colours. Dark coloring may bleed on lighter garments.
Maintenance Fur Collar
- Remove the fur collar from your jacket if possible
- Shake it well
- Comb out the fur collar with a soft comb. Imitation Fur is made of woven textile and is very strong, you will not damage it.
- Comb until all hairs have been combed out and the fur is soft again.
- You can let it air out outside for 1 day
- Did your faux fur collar get wet? Comb it extra right after it dries.
- Repeat this once every 3/4 weeks

Always keep your faux fur beautiful
If you follow the "Fur Collar Care" instructions above, you are guaranteed to keep your faux fur collar looking good. Faux fur is made of natural fibres, which can become entangled and tangled over time. Regular combing prevents tangles.
Tip!
Make your clothes waterproof
Use HG water, oil, grease & dirt tight for textiles. It is an aerosol that you buy at the drugstore or supermarket. There is a protective layer on the fabric making the jacket waterproof. It does not get dirty and fur stays beautiful for a long time. This layer should be applied every other month.
Especially recommended for light colors . Reapply after washing

Jacket with fur collar attached to the jacket?
Because it is not recommended to wash your coat with a fixed fur collar in the washing machine, you can use HG water, oil, grease & dirt sealant for textiles to protect the fabric from dirt and stains. Did you get a stain on your coat? then use HG Stain Spray Extra Strong. This is a hygienic and simple solution. If necessary, we recommend having your coat with a fixed fur collar washed by a dry cleaner. This costs on average around 15 euros
